The creative idea grew through long conversations with Frytz about tone, emotion and atmosphere. „Ich brenn für dich“ needed a visual world that breathes the same calm intensity as the track. We designed a subtle love story told through reflections, light, motion and the quiet rhythm of the city. Every scene was built to let Frytz move naturally, without forcing performance. Our team scouted locations that carry emotional weight, from wide urban spaces to intimate corners. The concept is simple on the surface but rich in feeling. It shows how a clear creative idea paired with thoughtful direction can turn a music video into a personal statement that strengthens the artist’s identity.
We wanted Cologne to be more than a backdrop. It needed to become a character. Shooting at Unicenter, the courthouse, the Rhein bridges and the trade fair grounds gave the film a recognizable heartbeat that locals feel instantly. These places carry quiet energy at night and offered the perfect contrast of concrete, light and open space. Our team used each location to create a sense of movement and emotional depth. As a film production company in Germany, we know how to bring cinematic scale to everyday environments. The city shaped the mood of the video, and the video returns that love by capturing Cologne at its most atmospheric.
The motorcycle became one of the central symbols of the story. Frytz riding through empty Cologne streets at night represents freedom, introspection and emotional momentum. The bike allowed us to play with speed, light and wind to give the film a dynamic pulse that contrasts the softness of the song. With cinematic lighting setups, light haze and controlled routes, we transformed quiet roads into moving stages. The combination of chopper, city and music gave the video its visual identity. It became a journey rather than a series of shots, and that journey mirrors the emotional build of the track.
The film was shot from sunset to sunrise, which required a precise balance of planning and flexibility. Together with Frytz’s in house video team we mapped out routes, secured permits and shaped a production workflow that kept us fast and agile. Our full service video production structure allowed us to cover lighting, camera, logistics and set management while staying open for spontaneous visuals. Night shoots can be challenging, but when cast and crew move in sync, they become the perfect canvas for intimate and atmospheric storytelling. The cold night was forgotten the moment we saw the footage. The images carry the warmth of the song.
Limited prep time made intuition a major asset. We relied on instinct, experience and a strong sense of trust within the team. The run and gun approach allowed us to respond to light, reflections and unexpected opportunities in real time. When a location feels right or a moment appears naturally, you capture it without hesitation. This style only works when the crew is aligned creatively and technically. Decades of combined experience made it possible to stay fast without compromising quality. The final cut carries that immediacy. It feels alive because it was created in the flow of the night rather than confined by a rigid shot list.
Post production moved quickly because the creative vision was crystal clear. Our director planned the emotional beats ahead of time, which allowed our editors to shape the narrative with confidence. We handled editing, color grading, sound design and mastering in a compact timeline of one and a half weeks. The grade gave the night scenes their warm glow and soft contrast. Sound design polished the sonic world around the track without overpowering it. The final master feels coherent, stylish and emotionally aligned with the song. This workflow reflects what WEWEREKIDS stands for. Smart preparation, fast execution and quality that holds up on every platform.
